EFDT works on a collaborative basis with developers, business, industry, central government and associated agencies to attract new and expanding business to Franklin and to retain existing business.

Services include:

• Facilitating and project managing specific investment scenarios
• 'Trouble-shooting' and resolving specific investment and development related issues.
• Identifying and working to remove, barriers to investment, business growth and business retention in Franklin
• Responding to investment queries from Franklin District Council (FDC)and other groups
• Working with community groups with a development focus
• Brokering forms of capital funding for start ups, incubators and business development
• Understanding the interests of the investing community
• Developing a network of contacts within the FDC and the business community
• Inspiring confidence in investors, politicians, Council, central govt agencies, businesses and other relevant orgs.
