 Initiated in 2005 with funding from New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, the Cluster identified some core areas of work that needed to be done to enable the sporthorse industry in the Counties region to flourish and grow.
To date, the work includes the development of a quality assurance programme incorporating quality assurance documents for the sale of sporthorses, export markets research, a syndication framework, development of a database, a venues survey, enterprise training workshops, a website and marketing and branding.
